Um. I say No to Flipstar, sorry.... Meh. I hate making rules If a person is missing for a 3 or more days when it's his or her turn, the others are allowed to skip his turnHas this rule been done yet? I don't think so, and this is so the thread doesn't die and everyone forgets about it. Even if it's Announce'd. I mean... look at Stupid Trivia.... <.< Oh, and I vote Yes for Caleton's rule....

I vote against Flipstar and Cormac's rule and for Caleton's rule. I also vote for Jerzkong's rule. If we wait too long for a new proposal, we're gonna get bored of waiting and lose interest in the game.

You know, because votes are important to know and, for me at least, it's good to be updated. I'll do a vote count a little after each new rule. Yeah, I think that works. and I agree with Jerzkong.
LIST OF RULES
With 8 alive, it takes 8 to make a rule legal
Rule 301, by Caleton: It takes only 5 votes to set up a rule, regardless of previous rules.
Yes: Caleton, Flipstar, Redearth, Jerzkong, Hellfire No: Cormac, Erniewan
Rule 302, by Cormac: Should all player but one vote for it, anyone person can be removed from the game.
Yes: Cormac No: Caleton, Jerzkong, Erniewan, Hellfire
Rule 303, by Erniewan If anybody gets more than 30 points ahead of the second place person, they automatically lose those 30 points.
Yes: Erniewan, Cormac, Caleton, Jerzkong, Redearth, Hellfire, Flipstar No:
Rule 304, by Flipstar EVERYONE STATES THE FIRST 2 LETTERS IN THEIR LAST NAME, AND THE RULE MAKERS WILL GO IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER
Yes: Flipstar, Cormac No: Erniewan, Caleton, Flipstar, Hellfire
Rule 305, by Hellfire: In every round (eight turns...from Caleton to Redearth), each person must vote supporting at least two. It is not necssary tht those two proposals must pass, just that each person has affirmed any two proposals.
Yes: Hellfire, Erniewan, Jerzkong, Caleton, Redearth, Cormac No:
Rule 306, by Jerzkong If a person is missing for a 3 or more days when it's his or her turn, the others are allowed to skip his turn.

I think owlknight is. but because we have no agreed on Jerzkong rule, we can't do anything about it.
there is a solution however!
we all vote for my rule. my rule gets excepted! then hald of us vote for Jerzkong's. then we skip owlknights turn!
wait, nevermind, we can't agree on my rule until owlknight shows up. ok this is getting ridiculous!
as long as owlknight is gone, we can't get anything achieved until my rule is made. but... we can't we can't make my rule until he shows up! grrr. this is taking forever! people seriously, show up! as soon as my turn comes again, I'm going to make a rule to stop all of this.

I have just imed owlknight and he has responded saying that he's really busy and probably won't be able to play, so we should remove him from the game i guess.
if that is official, we have a new rule!! and if so, cormac, you will need to add the new rule to the list and update points. or erniewan could do it.

i have an idea. Erniewan, I can't update the first post so you will have to. All rules that are done should be added to the first post. and you should make another section called, "denied rules" and put the bad ones in there.
also, we need to update the score, and I'm pretty sure that there's no prize for getting an accepted rule. am I wrong?
so this should be the score:
1) Cormac: 0 2) Redearth: 0 3) Erniewan: 0 4) Hellfire: 0 5) Flipstar: -10 6) Jerzkong: -10 7) Caleton: -10
also, it's redearth's turn.

Perhaps Cormac can explain, but here's what I think it means: Right now 204 doesn't apply, but when it does we will get points for opposing Passed rules. According to 202, everyone gets points every round according to that formula there. Pts=round((N-291)*(V/7)) where N is the rule number and V is the number of positive votes to your rule. If your rule was not passed, then you subtract 10 pts from that.
Example: Caleton's rule, N=301, V=5, rule not passed. Pts=round((301-291)*(5/7))-10 Pts=7-10=-1
This also means that we will get more points as the game goes on, since the rule numbers will increase.

Only way is for me to make you a mod of the board, I guess I can if everyone else agrees to let you.
Oh yeah, and you're right, the "ceiling" should just be "round" as it's to the nearest integer instead of round up.
