I wanted to know if any of yall have similar interests/obsessions... If so lemme know so I can recommend stuff/ get recommendations.. P.S - I started learning Korean for a while when I was going thru my Korean-drama obsession phase! So it tells you how much I love 'em..

HAHAHAHAHAHa. You're just like my friend. She loves Korean/East Asian dramas....
I watch movies with subtitles. Just so I can see everything they say so I don't miss anything out.

Anime is fun. :0
Usually I watch them subbed. Not because I'm one of those purists, but because the language sounds pretty.

Yeah, but have you heard some animes dubbed? They sound so bad! It's pitiful!
Like Inuyasha. What's with Kagome's voice?! Could it be any more retarded?

Yah. A lot of voices are bad in English. ex. Howl's Moving Castle, Deathnote

The Deathnote one isn't bad at all. Just not as cold and unemotional.

The One Piece Dubs are horrible, but death note isn't that bad. I don't usually watch Japanese movies, usually just subbed anime

Yeah, Kagome was horrible.
I don't really watch foreign films, but Pan's Labryinth (?) was really good. Pretty depressing, though.

Never? It won Foreign Film Award in 2006, I think. Or 2007? Or maybe I dreamed that up? I often dream up facts when I sleep, and I get confused whether facts are my fabricated from my dreams or not Erm. Yakitate Ja-pan is a good anime. Dubbing is pretty good. And I watched an episode of Witch Hunter Robin. It was... kinda boring. :S

Pan's Labryinth was great.
Witch Hunter Robin is kinda boring with little spikes of excitement. ^_^

How many episodes are there? I saw this one where some guy had a scarab on his arm, and he made scarabs that killed people and sucked their life...
It was still pretty boring :/
Yeah, Pan's Labryinth was good. I was surprised actually at its tone. Didn't expect it to be so dark. Thought it'd be a fantasy, slightly more serious (and a whole lot better) than Narnia, did not expect any killing at all, especially not the Captain dude.
