i heard that hermoine and hagrid, and fred, and lupin, and mad-eye and dobby, and loads of other people die? is that true? and that snape was protecting harry from voldemort because he actually loved lilly potter? and dumbledore has a horcrux that may be evil?

Yep, I finished it in one day.
Hellfire, that's a lot of scattered info. I'm not going to give out what happened, but... those are very general, made up spoilers. It's 50-50.

Some is true, some is not. Who else thinks that Mrs. Weasly had the best line in the book, if not the series. If you read the book, you KNOW the one I'm talking about

I can't recall the line.
I like the bit when Fleur uses to polyjuice potion to turn into Harry and then she gives Bill 'a slavish look the Harry never wished to see on his face again'

I liked the part where Harry found out about the Deathly Hallows. I loved it how everything was coming together. It explained all of the weird items that Dumbledore left them and many other things from throughout the book and the other books.

true..and I always knew snape was a good guy...u could sooo tell in the 3rd book...when they told abt the four friends and how they made fun of him... i soo thought he was a better guy than James!!! Only prob...was his death-eater friends... the mud-blood parts were kinda sad...both lily's and hermione's scenes.....

Lily's was sadder.

true...but still..... Any body thought the whole Ron thing was just too wierd....his leaving and coming back...and the ghoul... all those were pretty wierd...hermione's parents in austrailia...now that was more believable...but I can't criticize much about the reality factor...as the whole thing IS based on magic..

I thought Ron's faked sickness thing was one of the best parts of the book. I could just imagine the whole scenerio. And Hermione casting illegal charms on her parents was good too.

It never said if Hermione found her parents in Australia after the war was over.

she should just leave them there.. i don't think her muggle parents could deal with having witches and wizards as grandkids!!! plus...the fame and the questions from the press (esp.. that idiot rita skeeter)...might be tooo much.. or maybe I'm being too pessimistic...and they really DID live happily(boringly) ever after with every1 getting along...YEAH RIGHT! like thats happening....

I have decided to reread the book...cuz the 1st time I was in a hurry to finish it...so I might have missed some cool details...

All that bad stuff that happened was over at the end. The ministry was better. And she wasn't the only muggle-born, you know. there was plenty of parents with magical families. Why would the parents be famous. They did absolutely nothing involving anything. Why would they be famous?!

[sarcasm]Yeah, because people related to famous people dont get attention as well.[/sarcasm]

ummm....cuz she would be famous!!!! and if random ppl in Dumbledore's live can get pestered with questions....so would someone doubly (is that even a word.. it reminds me of poor dobby!!) related to harry potter... I mean first of all ...she was harry's close friend who was a part of the kicka** defeat of voldemort secondly she became ron's wife who was harry's close friend AND brother-in law.. so duh!!! she would be famous...she's probably mentioned in the History of Magic.....and is probably also part of the collectible cards in the chocolate frogs (i can sooo picture that!!) and WHY are we even arguing this..the point is MOOT as this all fiction... (even if it's still fun to argue....!)
