Soft: Ernie has made a good few posts. How do you feel about his word-to-content ratio? Until you asked that question, I noticed Ernie's vote/unvote on Kira, his question to vga and the indie theory. I didn't really see much into it, except maybe the "not mafia/indie/town" thing. That's why I started thinking blrasmu might be an indie, but I'm still not sure about him. Ernie's posts aren't really enough for me to say he's leaning town/scum at the moment. Time will tell. Kat, you said Ernie made "a good few posts", but he's still null to you. What is your definition of "good posts"? I have a question(s) for everyone though: a) Do you think we should get a lynch today? b) In your opinion, what's the best way to get a lynch on Day 1? c) What are you going to do in order to point us in the right direction? a) D1 lynches are ok when people give their reasons why they vote and if the lynch can help the town on the next day. No random lynches. b) Go through all the posts again, ask questions... c) Give my thoughts about people as the game progresses and try to ask/answer questions. Soft, describe to me your feelings of kat. Whenever I play a game with Kat, I can never tell if she's town or mafia, unless she lets something slip. I haven't seen her play that much as mafia though. So it's hard to tell right now.

blrasmu, what is your opinion of everything I just said? I was hoping you'd have something to say about it, but you just go "and there it is" and walk off I will say that your statements about voting off activity didn't strike me quite as badly as XX's, so I'm still generally null on you. soft, I don't feel like opening a new tab since you started a new page so I'll reply to your post in my next post.

okay, re: soft By "a good few" I really meant "many" rather than that I actually thought they were good; however, Ernie is asking and answering questions and supplying reads. Regardless of his alignment, it's good posting because no matter what, we will get information out of it.

False, kat. I forget facts in every game, town or mafia.

You're more likely to blow them off as mafia, though. Or argue them. which...eh. you really aren't doing that here.....uggggggggggggggggggh. Unvote: [/color] Still got my eye on you, bub.

While you're still here and I'm not paying attention to this film, -Do you have any other thoughts on XX's #141? -What of blrasmu's 148/149?

I am going to wait to respond to your first question until after XX responds to mine. I don't want to telecast any of my thoughts until they are ready
As for blrasmu... honestly it feels almost like a parrot of what XX said. I suppose it's understandable, and blrasmu is generally inactive regardless of his alignment so the whole "coming in posting and leaving" thing fits with his general style of play, so yeah... the parrot is the only notable thing there.

But I will say that XX's response to my Ernie and VGA question felt really... careful.

Understandable. I await his response as well.
I felt the same way, but like I said, the way he worded it was not quite as scummy as the way XX worded it.

Sorry distracted.
You're voted for monstr because he thinks everyone thinks you're town. Making him think you're town.
And then you settled you differences.
Okay. Sweet.

I voted him because he was all "Imma sheep everyone" when only one person made any indication of thinking I'm town.

oh and along with that, he said in the sentence prior to claiming to sheep everyone, that he was trying to make his own observations.

Monstr, do you still think Kat is town despite you being wrong with your reasoning?

Well... yeah kinda. It was really mostly my own gut feeling to begin with, just the added part of what I -thought- was everyone saying she was town made me almost certain. Because if 4-5 people are saying one person is town, it's much more likely they are town. Ofc I imagined most of the people, but yeah.

Questions for everyone:
So far, if you could lynch any one player, who would it be and why?

okay, re: soft By "a good few" I really meant "many" rather than that I actually thought they were good; however, Ernie is asking and answering questions and supplying reads. Regardless of his alignment, it's good posting because no matter what, we will get information out of it. Yeah, this is what I try my best to do. Even if I'm not being on the offense, I stay active and give information whenever I can. I think if everyone did that, the mafia would have a lot harder time hiding. Anyways, I was gonna use the multiquote thing, but it was giving me memory issues, so I'll just try to go back and see what I can respond to. well...in Hogan's...he was in a hydra with MF...and MF never does anything. Does that matter? It's not like MF told monstr not to post or something, he made his own decisions. I made my own posts as a hydra... though I will say that having to log in to a separate account was annoying. Re monstrman's post about GG/Soft: I actually could see the point he was trying to make. GG's normally skeptical about everyone, but he has a Town read on Soft just because she's posting? I currently have her at null, I don't think her meta is not to post at all, though I haven't seen her as mafia much. On the other side of the coin, would be kinda dumb for the mafia to just buddy up from Day 1. Haven't seen enough of GG as scum to know if he plays as he does as Town though. Right now I'd say he's Null-Town for me. @kat: What do you mean soft and I are sheeping each other? She might be sheeping me, but I don't recall sheeping her. I do tend to trust her more because we date, but I don't see why that would make me sheep her. Also, Then you FoS monstrman for trusting you (which you changed into a vote after 4 minutes?). I honestly don't have you as scum, but you and monstrman do this EVERY GAME. @xx Stone: vga was trying to not draw ATTENTION to himself, not suspicion, but either way that backfired too. I still have him as Null, but that's better than the lean scum he usually gets. And yes, my playstyle is usually Neutral Good; I try to make an informative post every day and react to whatever's happened, asking questions whenever I have them and making reads. I'd ask that you go back and give some reads though; Mafia isn't about "making friends" (though that's hopefully an outcome), it's about calling out people for things and analyzing their responses. We're detectives and attorneys, we look for clues, follow leads, and prosecute those who are scummy. monstrman: You know I will make a response when I have time. >_> I can't really read up at work. blrasmu: Who are your suspicions? I didn't like how you were like "I want to say something about Kat... oh nvm, they worked it out". I voted him because he was all "Imma sheep everyone" when only one person made any indication of thinking I'm town. It's not unreasonable to assume someone's town when everyone else agrees (you voted before confirming that it was just me). Works better than the other way around actually, because mafia are typically trying to toss suspicion on townies and ignore each other, so when they actually back someone as town, it's usually so they can gain some cred on a really town-looking player. Or buddying up, but that leaves a trail later. robbiecon: Welcome! kirawillwin was a shady fellow, so you have your work cut out for you. I suggest you read up and post soon!

re: sheeping I meant in general, and like I said I do it too!
And AGAIN, it was because he claimed to be sheeping the whole town (also right after he said he was making his own observations). I really don't want to have to explain this again.
How was Kira shady? He made all of, what, two posts? And one was explaining why he wasn't here.

Did I miss the new meta or something? Everyone is so serious. Day 1 has never been like this.
I can see though that you guys aren't messing around. Might have something to do with the limited number of players, so I'll step in up a notch.
In a real situation, I would go at the people who have been making contentless posts unless prompted to come out of the shadows. Because of my earlier views, that includes myself - kind of makes sense why I've been singled-out when you look at it that way.
In a game this size, I would think that there would be 3 mafia, 1 independent and 8 townies. Trying to weed out mafiats with 4 real days of activity is... idealistic at best, but if I were mafia in such a small game, I'd be trying to make a few good posts, make sure that I didn't make any enemies unless it looked prudent to do so, and generally go with the crowd. The people I see who fit this trend so far are Erniewan (but we already knew this), Softguitar, and yes, now that I look at it, Gameguy.
Let's say those are my suspicions. Maybe not so much Erniewan for previously stated reasons.

I'd have to say it's between Softguitar and The Game Guy. I can't really extrapolate further than that.

I'm not overtly suspicious of any of them; however, soft is the only one of the three who is still a solid null for me. (GG strong town, ernie iota of town)

before he was replaced, was kira your top scum read? Well, I did vote him. But he didn't post enough to be considered a scum read, just someone I felt like calling out for lurking. I am keeping my eye on him, but he's no more than null-scum until he makes some posts. This pretty much goes for blrasmu, fatalfiend, and darthpokey (where is he?). I also have Softguitar at Null, which is odd because I usually have her at Null-Town, but I'll wait and see. I don't trust GameGuy or XX Stone much either. The rest of the players I have at Null-Town.
