Most of the Mushroom Kingdom had lost hope ever since their hero, Mario had died. Some of them still had hope in Bowser but with him gone who would save them now? The Shroobs boarded their UFO's and destroyed every town they came across, leaving none alive. Although there was one survivor... A small, strange green man was able to afford a rocket with all of his beans he had been collecting since the start of the invasion. He escaped the planet to start plans of his own elsewhere... After every town was destroyed they all went back to Shroob castle to celebrate their victory! They had lost many great Shroob heroes during the invasion but it was all worth it. They would be able to build up their army here to invade other planets. Soon they would conquer the entire universe! Town wins!Also Congrats to Miracle Fassad for reaching his winning condition!And now for the remaining survivors: | Miracle Fassad was Fawful, shopkeeper, Independently aligned |
Puppyduck was Shrooba diver, Commuter, town aligned
Jamis was Ghoul Guy, Ouendan/Miller, town aligned
Erniewan was Elder Shrooboid, Hintsman, town aligned
Squeege was Intern Shroob, Mason, town aligned
LordManimani was Elder Princess Shroob, Jack of all trades, town aligned
Thanks to everyone who played in my first game! Hope you guys had a good time! I'll have more of a writeup later with all of the role pms and all of that good stuff.

Woooot! I get the mega-awesome picture. Good job, gang. I had fun playing that game, even though the mafia tried to mess with me so much, haha.

Yay!
Good job guys, although by the end we were able to just PoE our way to victory.
Monstrman played pretty well too, as he stayed out of the spotlight most of the game (and killed 2 scum). After his claim though, he didn't really have a choice but to go along with the town. You could argue that he should've just claimed vanilla, but he didn't know if there was a tracker or something that could've caught him in the lie.

Yeah, I think monstrman would have had a fighting chance if he had used some sort of fake claim (weren't you given one?) and just kept killing active/confirmed players. That way we would lynch the mafia/inactive townies and he would last just long enough.

Since the game is over, I might as well post the descriptions I sent in for the items I made. I thought they were pretty creative, if I do say so myself. Max Mushroom: A special mushroom with extreme healing properties. Use at night to protect one person (including yourself) from death. Gone after one use. [Cost: 8 Beans] {Present to town on Day 1}
Refreshing Herb: A fresh herb with healing properties. Use at night to protect one person from all negative status conditions (roleblocking, randomization, etc.). Gone after one use. [Cost: 5 Beans] {Present to town on Day 1}
Supreme Slacks: An extremely slick pair of overalls. Passive item. Protects holder from death once, then the item is used up. [Cost: 15 Beans] {Present to town on Day 1} Red Pepper: A spicy pepper that invigorates the consumer. Use at night to cheer someone, allowing them to use their night action twice. Has no effect on those without a night action. Gone after one use. [Cost: 7 Beans] {Present to town on Day 2}
Ice Flower: A peculiar flower with the power to freeze things. Use at night to roleblock a target of your choice. Gone after one use. [Cost: 7 Beans] {Present to town on Day 2}
Bro Flower: A peculiar flower with the power to create fire. Use at night to burn the target of your choice. Each night the target is burned, they have a 50% chance of dying that night. The burn lasts for two full day-night cycles. Burn can be treated early if protected by a doctor or doctoring item. Gone after one use. [Cost: 11 Beans] {Present to town on Day 3}
Pocket Chomp: A small chain chomp enemy that can be commanded at will. Use at night to grab hold of a target of your choice with the chomp. If you are killed during the night, they will die as well. Gone after two uses. [Cost: 9 Beans] {Present to town on Day 3}
Copy Flower: A peculiar flower with the power to create duplicates of people. Use at night to make a duplicate of yourself that will absorb all night actions targeted at you. If investigated, the duplicate will appear exactly as you would if investigated. Gone after one use. [Cost: 9 Beans] {Present to town on Day 3}
Cannonballer: A powerful cannon used to launch a person. Use at night to kill a target of choice. However, there is a 25% chance you will kill yourself on impact along with your target, as well as a 25% of missing completely. Gone after one use. [Cost: 12 Beans] {Present to town on Day 4}
Blue Pepper: An interesting pepper that provides the consumer with incredible speed. Use at night to use your speed to investigate a person of your choice. You will learn their role name, role, and alignment. Gone after one use. [Cost: 7 Beans] {Present to town on Day 8}

Ah, the Copy Flower got downgraded to one use for me. It probably would have been more useful for someone else, but at least it ensured that my action went through and I could confirm myself.

Didn't monstrman actually kill three of the mafiats (although we told him to kill one)? We owe alot of our victory to him.

Whooooo winrar is town.
I guess to clear some stuff up since it's endgame, I was Commander Shroob, real Vigilante. Basically I could kill, but I had a random limited amount. I managed to kill Kira (sorry bout that), because that's what the suspicion was at the time. After that, I was blocked or something every single other time until I both ran out of uses, and then died. Yeehaw.

Yeah I killed tons of mafia but I messed up cause I made my vigilante claim early and it wasn't entirely believable. You guys probably would have used the pepper on me had I layed low much longer.

I wss going to make that claim as well seeing as we janitored TFP its the main reason I called you on that but never got a chance to do anything and you backed up so quickly I just figured Il let it slide for a bit then shaf got hung and I coulodnt back up a cliam like that.

Personally, I think the mafia could have put a lot more effort into the game. They had all the resources, they were just lacking in Day activity.

I think I killed too many mafiats for them to have much of a chance unless the last few played really well.

You killed 2 of them. And you probably wouldn't have killed those if they had played more from the start.
Edit: To clarify, I was just backing my point. I really am grateful for the help you supplied to us Townies. I think you might have done better to kill confirmed-ish players in order to save yourself though.

Yeah, I dug my own grave toward the end there. Yes, I wanted to kill a couple mafiats but because i killed the inactive/scummy ones I was pretty screwed.

Since the game is over, I might as well post the descriptions I sent in for the items I made. I thought they were pretty creative, if I do say so myself. I liked them. A good number of them were pretty intuitive (mushroom, herb, slacks, and ice flower). The only thing I'll say is that the fire flower and the cannonballer were a bit weak for their cost.

Here I'll start out with who the janitored people were and the indie role pms. Janitored people: SecondPrize was Yoob, Roleblocker, aligned with the town.TheFakePsychic was Commander Shroob, vigilante, Town alignedEVT was Princess Shroob, Judge, Town aligned Indie role pms:You are Fawful, Shop owner, independently aligned. You are Fawful, a resident of the nearby Beanbean Kingdom. You plan to get revenge on those red and green mustaches that killed your master, but right now you need beans to buy new technology and get revenge. During the game you may make up to ten items to sell to the town. You may make these items whenever you want and put any price on them that you want (you can even use your own items if you want!). Every time you make an item it will be added to a shop that the whole town can see. The items can be helpful to both the town and the mafia. During the game, beans will be offered to the town and they can be used to purchase your items. You are not allowed to pick up these beans (so if you see a post of mine that says “There is an odd mark in the ground, if you want to dig there post a message saying so.”, don’t reply to it). You win when you either get 40 beans or if you survive to the end of the game. You are Bowser, Serial Killer, independently aligned. As the King of the Koopas you have always wanted to take over the Mushroom Kingdom but have always failed. With the Mario bros. distracted fighting the Shroobs, this is your perfect chance to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Each night you may choose to either kill a person or hide in your shell to protect yourself from all night kills. You can only hide in your shell every other night. You win when you are the last person standing.
