So I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations for good computers, specifically laptops. I was looking for one for myself, but feel free to recommend them to each other too. Best one I've found so far is: Toshiba Satellite - SlateIt has good specs, a reasonable price, and an 8 hour battery life. Also, Intel Wireless Display, though don't know if that's any good.

Intel Wireless display just means you can wirelessly stream video output to a TV (see www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=922 ) It's not a bad laptop, but it uses an Intel IGP, which is a really bad graphics chip. My laptop uses one, and I can't even do 720p on youtube. If you can spend a bit more money, consider one with a discrete NVIDIA or AMD GPU, like This.I'm personally thinking of getting this for my new laptop, But that may be too much for you.

Yeah, I was wanting a Wi-Di because my TV is really old and doesn't have any of the modern inputs except for RCA, which this system seems to support. Of course then I'd have to spend an extra $100 getting the adaptor and all, which I could instead just spend on a better computer. But thanks for telling me about the graphics card; I really know very little about the particulars of computers, because I don't really use mine to play games or do anything fancy. I know that I liked the 8 hour battery life though, my current one lasts only like 15 minutes now, so it's been pretty much like a desktop for the past few years... one of the reasons why I've been shopping for a new one. I suppose I'll look more at these Asus laptops, though I don't think the ones on Best Buy have the same graphics cards. Do you have a link to graphics cards reviews? Edit: What about this one? Seems to be like the other one I posted but with a smaller display and NVIDIA graphics card.

Well, according to here Gaming performance on that GPU ain't that bad, with 44 fps on L4D with high settings. It's looks pretty good, though the battery does stick out the bottom, which may be an issue.

Is ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 a good graphics card, or at least good enough to run games like Team Fortress 2?

According to Notebookcheck, It's Onboard Graphics, so no. EDIT: If you can spend the money, maybe get this.
