Hmm, I wonder if there IS a conspiracy.

Ernie seems out to get me, and my CONSPIRACY. Suspicious. He's said before in SSBB Mafia he killed me because he was afraid I would figure out he was serial killer. Seems like the same thing is going on here! If he wasn't part of the conspiracy he wouldn't fear me or CONSPIRACY.
CONSPIRACY, prepare to kill! >: (
Men, PM me and prepare for a group discussion. Snacks provided.

So you're making a non-conspiracy conspiracy?
My head will explode soon, this is so weird.

It's a Conspiracy!

Hmm, if we end up lynching someone, would it actually say if they're in a conspiracy or not?

If there is a conspiracy, only the conspirators' votes count, so don't bet on a conspirator being lynched.

Yeah, that's what I was betting on as well. But say we choose someone randomly who IS in the conspiracy for our lynch (beware of people who try to change who we lynch), and they don't die, we can believe that there is a conspiracy protecting their own member! So either they let their member die, or they prove that there is a conspiracy... it's possible they might sacrifice.

Yeah, if someone else died that would be majorly fishy, so I'm guessing there'll be a sacrifice.
LMM: Can we talk to dead people in this game?

Post by jamis on Jul 16, 2009 12:21:32 GMT -6
I think LMM said there's only two people in the conspiracy if there is one, so they have a lot to lose if one of them dies.

Wait, where did he say that?

I think the sign-ups. I'll check

Nevermind, he said it could range from 2 to how many people there are minus 2.

Will the conspirators please kill themselves, will the not-conspirators please not kill the not-conspirators. Also, anyone want to help me start an anti-conspiracy-conspiracy-against-conspirators-conspiracy?

Whoa whoa whoa, I just had a thought.
We have no idea how many people are in the conspiracy.
There may only be one person, meaning we would have to be INCREDIBLY lucky to hit that one.

|
Post by Erniewan on Jul 16, 2009 16:28:20 GMT -6
True, but I think LMM was going to tell us how many conspirators there are from the start. If that's so, we might have to change our strategy.

Let me see if this dice code works... [dice=6] [/dice] ... guess not.

Post by jamis on Jul 16, 2009 17:02:55 GMT -6
Oh yeah, LMM do we get to know how many conspirators there are if there were a conspiracy?
Also, Meow, if there is one it's at least two and no more than 12, so it may be low, but it is larger than 1. Unless its 0, of course.
I guess we should wait for LMM to say if we get to find out how many people might be in the conspiracy, but if anyone hasn't posted yet, please do so that we know you're here.

Second paragraph was unclear, I'll restate.
If there is a conspiracy there are at least two members and no more than 12.

Jamis: Then just replace "One" with "Two".
It would still be a 1/7 chance to lynch a member of the conspiracy.

I have a question....do we vote openly or through PM's?

PMs, I think.

No Meow, if there is a conspiracy, then we can't lynch anybody. Our votes won't count if there is a conspiracy. Only the conspiracy's votes will.

Post by Erniewan on Jul 17, 2009 12:32:46 GMT -6
It still matters who we pick though. If we choose a non-conspirator at random, the conspirators will just vote to kill that person to cover their tracks.

|
Post by Meow on Jul 17, 2009 13:12:43 GMT -6
CP: If we all go "Yeah we should lynch _____", and that person doesn't get lynched, then there's a conspiracy, right?
Now the conspirators don't want us to know that, so they would lynch their teammate in order to hide the fact that the conspiracy exists.

If there is a conspiracy we can only hope we dont get killed and survive to the end game where we can say if we think there is a conspiracy or not. Not my style. So I'm going to do something about it. Because if there isn't then the group/alliance with the most people will muscle the rest of the players out. That's more like it. That's what CONSPIRACY is all about. Join or die. Unless there is a real conspiracy in which case each and every one of us can cross their fingers and hope they last until the very end because we are powerless.

- Players will vote privately during the night phase.
- Alignments will not be revealed when lynch results are announced.
- Whether there is a Conspiracy or not, I will not reveal the "magic number," this being either the number of Conspirators or the number of players at which the the game will end.
