Hmm. I'm null on Mr. Coyote Man, but my first instinct is that reaction fishing is good mkay. Ernie is being proactive, which is certainly a good sign. Soft's "lolz Ernie is mafia >Ernie explains himself -> carry on" was a bit weird, but I'm pretty sure she was joking...hmm. TML why not not trust Crav? I've got my eye on you, mister. Best alliteration EVAR re: TML's question- Maybe Soft for being weird earlier, or you because you're really hard for me to read. Or we could always default to XX Stone, he's always mafia! Also, seriously TML, how do you come up with such good questions? I try to do RQS but my questions are all the same. I actually am suspicious of NPR at this point, not because he thinks I'm serious but because he was calling for my blood with no vote. I mean he was all "not sure if srs" but he's still calling me scum but still not voting for me? idk, I could be reading too much into it but my vote's staying where it is. mkay back to biology! Yup, agreed on the softguitar and NPR suspicions. I thought that it was odd that softguitar defended you for not being here, but you look town so there's probably nothing there. NPR on the other hand, if the voting's all a joke, then why the lack of vote? He still hasn't really given an explanation.

my fos is missing link rigt now because he asked a bunch of questions to me trying to look proactive but when i answered and shot one back at him he did not respond to my question...so my question again is are you mafia like you asked me??? I'm replying to this half of your post one first (out of order) just to be clear, as Kat said, that I have limited availability. (Mainly only evenings.) I just started a new job, and they are fairly anti-random-web-browsing during the day, and I'd rather be on the cautious end of that rather than totally get myself in trouble before I figure out the fine line. I'm also on West Coast time, so that also adds a little bit on the delay of my responses. lol well no i am not part of the mafia but thank you for asking lol.....are you? I plead not Mafia. Technically, Erniewan already asked me this one... and I already told him that I wasn't Mafia. So I kinda find it weird that suddenly you're being all "OH HEY LOOK AT TML IGNORING MY QUESTION" and being all FoSy on that. By the way, Vote: Werdna0418TML why not not trust Crav? I've got my eye on you, mister. I never trust Cravdraa. In games he is not in, he is especially untrustworthy. RQS? Also, thanks (I think?) on the good(?) questions? I hadn't really given Soft's joke(?) thing all that much thought at first -- though maybe it's because I read the first page quickly since a lot of it did seem to be more playful banter than serious hunting (even though I think Ernie's point about getting something out of jokes still somewhat relevant), but thinking back, it is curious if nothing else. Usually if I'm going to joke about someone being Mafia (*cough* Cravdraa), I stick with the joke for a lot longer than one post. Certainly not conclusive evidence or anything, but curious. I presume you would tend to have a good read on NPR given the circumstances, though at the same point, I don't know NPR all that well and would have a little bit more difficult time reading that far into it. And second your questions were to draw information so please share with us what information you have gathered so far I think this is where this post went; I already closed that tab because I missed the second question on my first read through. So I'll admit that I do have one odd little pseudo-theory about Mafia, especially the question "hey, are you Mafia?" My mini-theory is that, based upon statistics and a little bit of armchair psychology, I have the belief that people who are Mafia are more likely to joke about being Mafia than Townies are. It really does sound like a silly question to most people, but I think it's also a deceptively difficult question to answer properly, much like the "Have you stopped beating your wife recently?" question. That and given your uncanny aggressiveness against me, I'm suspicious of you to begin with. Several of the questions I asked, I'll admit, are a bit on the silly end of things... and rely a bit on probability. For instance, my question to Kat can't pan out until I know whether she's Town or Mafia. I ask that question in order to force her either to give some early suspicions and/or to pick someone at random right away. If she's Town and picked someone random, nothing will come of it. If she's Mafia and picked someone random, then it's an interesting guessing game to determine if her random person was a fellow Mafiat or not. However, Kat did surprise me by actually giving a little bit more rationale to her answer than I was suspecting. I want to say that she's Town; unfortunately, I almost always inadvertently bias Kat as being Town as it is... but right now I don't have an unfavorable read on her. Ernie's question was an attempt to see if we could get off of the joking platform and onto a serious one. Actually, that was part of my post of questions as a whole, but I figured that I'd delve a bit into Ernie's brain and see if he had a rationale for being humorous... to figure out the underlying intentions. There's nothing that cries out Mafia yet, but I'm not in a trustworthy mood quite yet. Softguitar... hmmm... I'm going to follow up with yet another question. Do you think anyone this game has been trying to be overly friendly to you? I.e., is there anyone in this game that's so far hitting your first hunch radar? NPR... I admit I was hoping more from his answer. But if you don't know Dr. Who... oh well. The most that question could have yielded was someone NPR wasn't. Kira's joke was really less an attempt to draw out details from himself and more to see what to expect from this game. If Monstrman likes to include crazy roles or super secret surprises or the like. Many of the other questions are either silly or will be circumstantial evidence on top of a future case to be analyzed further down the pike. That's some of it at the least.

TML, that's not what I said! I said why not not trust Cravdraa. God.
RQS stands for Random Question Stage and, when done right, gets games going. Like what you did!
Hate to burst your bubble, but i joke about being mafia regardless of alignment! And also...this is our third game together. And I replaced out of one! =P
Also, I can tell you firsthand that monstrman loves weird roles- hence cappy's "inb4 everybody's an Armoire" comment. :3
Lastly, werdna hadn't really pinged my scumdar but I am curious to see his response now...

TML, that's not what I said! I said why not not trust Cravdraa. God. I am still wrapping my head around the grammar of that. Ow ow OW OW OW I figured it was an oddly specific acronym. THE INTERNETS LET ME DOWN WHY. I have absolutely no statistics to back my claim up. Every time it's come up thus far in games I've been in, it's been reasonably true. So I don't doubt that there are exceptions to the rule.

Oh right, forgot a part: I'm not going to vote for someone for trolling, which is why I didn't vote for her yet. See, I just thought that was what the shtick was. Voting someone regardless of trolling. The fact that you now have this "code of honor" or a reason to not joke vote implies there's alterior intentions.

re: TML- oh so you're doing it as a percentage! hahaha
re: Ernie- I thought the same thing. That's why my vote's staying where it is, I'm very wtf about what NPR is saying.
See honey, I was trolling at first with the OMGUS, now that you're being weird about this, NOW I'm serious.

Softguitar... hmmm... I'm going to follow up with yet another question. Do you think anyone this game has been trying to be overly friendly to you? I.e., is there anyone in this game that's so far hitting your first hunch radar? Not that I've noticed yet. Maybe later in the game when someone tries to convince me or others to vote for someone. I'm being meta, but in the last mafia game I was in Kat was supernice to me. I read up some more now and I want to say Capcom has posted some good ideas for who to look out for if we want to find scum. For now NPR stands out to me for not voting Kat, as part of their shtick. But I am not (yet) convinced that he could be mafia. TML, your vote on Werdna seems kinda off... TML: How do you feel about asking questions to others? Have you done this before in other mafia games? What do you do with all this information? No response on Dog Injuries's vote on you, Kat? I skimmed over some posts earlier on and I assumed he meant you were inactive, instead of him wanting a real reaction of you on his vote. So, partly my fault... JKilla: even if you made a typo, nobody will know if you really did make a typo or just edited your posts.

Unless I missed it, I was wanting more of a defense from Kat. The whole schtick thing has me suspicious of them both, particularly NPR's refusal to vote her too. Hunch says either one or both of them is mafia, but probably not both town.
I doubt we'll get a first day lynch here though.

yar, it's in the rules in the OP. Other than...me being inactive the last couple of days and now NPR being weird there's...not that much to explain? idk I mean we always do this, and he's the one going out of character here by not voting for me. not much to say that I haven't said already.

That's a promise I plan to keep monstrman. So enough with these side tracks. What's been going on in the game.
Werdnad has 2 votes, Kat and NPR has one. And we've seen a interview. What is the next thing is going ot come around Doctor Who next? (Never seen the show, read a book).

I will say this. There's been one game (just ended) since NPR and I started dating where we worked together, and we didn't try to lynch each other (we were masons).
That makes his non-commitment to my lynch all the more disconcerting.
