It has been a crazy season for college football this year. With a larger amount of bowl-eligible teams, this will make it a very interesting bowl season. You will be able to bet on any bowl game you want. Here is the list of bowl games for this season:

Here are the teams in each FBS conference. If a team is blue, then they can participate in a bowl game. If a team is red, then they cannot participate in a bowl game. If a team is in green, then they can participate in a bowl game if they win their final game. If a team is brown, that school will become the champion of its conference if it wins. If 2 teams in the same conference are brown, the are playing each other to be their conference's champion this weekend. If a team is orange, then they have already been declared their conference's champion. Note that these stats are unofficial. There is still 1 weekend of football remaining. The ACC, Big 10, CUSA, MAC, Pac 12, and SEC conferences only have their championship games this weekend. The Big 12, Big East, Independent Schools, MWC, Sun Belt, and WAC conferences have regular conference play.

Since me and Erniewan have already come to a decision:
RULES FOR BETTING:
Before any betting can begin, you all will need to purchase shares. You can purchase shares at any time. 1 share is worth $50 DEM dollars. To purchase shares, you simply type: PURCHASE: XX SHARES (please bold). If you cannot afford to purchase shares, the IBDEM may spot you a few shares (plead your case to Erniewan). If you wish to purchase shares for a friend, simply type: Purchase XX shares for John Doe. You can purchase shares for as many people as you wish. You cannot purchase more than 35 shares for one 1 person. The money for your shares will be taken out of your account, and you will be credited with X shares. Just because you bought X shares does not mean you have to bet them all. You will place these shares on teams that you will pick to win their bowl game. To bet for a team, you post the name of the bowl, the teams playing in the bowl, and who you pick. For instance: BCS Rose Bowl: Michigan State vs. Oregon; Oregon over Michigan State (please bold) To ensure that there is no cheating, No bets for a game will be accepted when kickoff is less than 1 hour away. In addition, we also ask that you do not edit your posts where you place your picks. You are welcome to change your pick, as long as there is more than an hour before that game's kickoff. To change your pick, simply make a new post in this format:
Previous pick: BCS Rose Bowl: Michigan State vs. Oregon; Oregon over Michigan State. New pick: Michigan State over Oregon
if for some reason you want to remove your pick entirely from a game, simply make a new post like so:
BCS Rose Bowl: Michigan State vs. Oregon; Oregon over Michigan State. REMOVE PICK
After betting for a game is closed off, the amount of shares for the 2 teams is put into that game's pot. After the game is over, the pot of shares will be split among the winners.
For example, let's say that Michigan State plays Oregon in the Rose Bowl. There are 15 people who place a share on Michigan State, and 10 people who place a share on Oregon, making a pot of 25 shares. If Oregon wins, those 25 shares are split among the 10 people who picked Oregon. After the final bowl game has been played, all shares will automatically be cashed in, with the person who had the most correct picks receiving a football badge along with their winnings.
When the bowl games are posted, the favorite will be posted 1st, with the spread after the second team. For example:
BCS Rose Bowl: Michigan State (11-2) vs. Oregon (11-2); spread of 10.0.

I'll probably handle the money exchanges after the betting is all over so I don't keep adding and subtracting from accounts. Just don't order more shares than you can afford.
Also, if you play games here on DEM, but for some reason don't have enough money to buy shares, I'll be willing to spot you up to 5 shares. Then it's up to you to multiply that money. You don't have to pay me back (unless you win a lot, then I will tax you -- j/k).
Oh, and if you purchase shares for another person, that person keeps the winnings when it's all over. Wouldn't be fair to use another person as an extra 35 shares for yourself.
