well you can pick it up p. fast, I actually haven't seen all of season 1 or 2. But starting with season 1 would probably be best. Also if you can watch the season 8 NCIS/JAG crossover episodes (not that I have) (Ice Queen and Meltdown are the names I believe) because that was sort of the pilot of NCIS (it's a spinoff of JAG).

I'm confused... so should I start with NCIS Season 1, Episode 1? Also, why haven't you seen all of 1 and 2 if it's your favorite show? I watched all 7 seasons of 24 in like half a year...

well I haven't seen all of seasons 1 & 2 because they're only on as repeats (and even then they always repeat season 3), and I don't own the Season DVDs (though I plan to). And you should start (if possible) with the JAG/NCIS crossover, but if you can't just start with Season 1, Episode 1.

To be perfectly honest (I told this to puppyduck in IRC), sure you can have super drama oh hey look a dead person let's all be badasses and solve a murder TV shows (like CSI, NCIS, and that kinda stuff). But it really takes some flair and skill to be a comedic cop show. Not one with funny moments, but one that focuses on the comedy, and that's why I think Psych was the best one on the list. It broke the mold. Admittedly, if someone thinks that Psych is ALL comedy, then I would like to direct you this episode www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8iONPIFa-kOr even if not that one, then how about this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ0GIP4pWdo

It's funny, but sometimes I find it a bit too silly. I prefer The Mentalist (I know, I know, it's a "rip-off") because it succeeds at balancing the drama and humor. Also, I prefer Jane's style, the matter-of-factness rather than Shawn's figuring it out and playing it off. Reminds me more of House, maybe.
Oh, and what should we do next?

That's strange, because I don't think that The Mentalist is funny whatsoever. I even tried watching some of the episodes without biasing too much, and I thought they were boring as hell.
But, then again, arguing is kinda pointless, since after the results, I can't change anyone's mind and no one can change my mind.

Yeah, we just have different types of humor and preference. Both are good though.

I suppose RPGs could work. Everyone post your top 3 favorite RPG games/series in the Elimination Sign-Ups thread.
